Bio: Dr. Muhammad Haroon Aslam is a multidisciplinary feed technology and animal nutrition expert with extensive international experience in poultry, aquaculture, ruminant, pet, and exotic animal nutrition. He holds a PhD from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, focused on sustainable protein replacement and improving feed efficiency in animal diets.
He currently serves as General Manager and Group Head of Nutrition at CP Feeds Malawi, where he leads feed manufacturing operations, animal nutrition, product development, quality assurance, and research and development activities across multiple production facilities. His responsibilities include precision feed formulation, raw-material and feed-additive evaluation, enzyme application, feed-cost optimization, pellet-quality improvement, soybean processing, nutritional trials, and process optimization for commercial feed manufacturing.
In his group-level nutrition role, he develops and evaluates feeding programs for poultry, aquaculture, and livestock while supporting feed-performance improvement, ingredient utilization, product innovation, and commercially sustainable nutrition strategies. He also provides technical leadership for production efficiency, feed quality, customer-specific formulations, supplier-product assessments, and the investigation of nutritional and manufacturing performance.
Previously, Dr. Haroon led R&D and Operations at Grand Cereals Ltd, Nigeria, overseeing multiple feed mills, an oil extraction plant, and cereal-processing facilities. His experience combines scientific research with practical industrial implementation under diverse commercial, operational, and raw-material conditions.
